Leom is a poet, novelist, and philosopher born in Albania, yet he considers the entire world his home. He has traveled and lived in many countries, gaining familiarity with a wide variety of languages, folklores, and cultures. Leom is the author of 72 books, including novels, poetry collections, aphorisms, spiritual works, and sonnets, and he writes in three languages: Albanian, Spanish, and English.

In particular, Leom is recognized as the first, and the only, poet in the past 500 years, since the time of Shakespeare, to have succeeded in creating sonnets in a truly Shakespearean style. From the 154 sonnets Shakespeare left us as a unique literary treasure, no other poet, whether famous or obscure, had managed to reproduce that distinct form. Yet Leom has now accomplished this rare feat, having written more than two thousand rich and authentic English sonnets.

Among this vast body of work, Leom has also created his own type of sonnet: the “Leomnian Sonnet.” While similar in style to the Shakespearean sonnet, these poems are considered by many critics to be even richer and more intricate in content, language, structure, figurative expression, and philosophical depth.
