Love In Madrid
Everything begins in Madrid, where a man, consumed by obsessive thoughts, secretly plots the death of his wife. Josefa Isabel Martínez, a Colombian woman deeply in love with him, has endured years of his irrational jealousy. Though his anger has never gone to extremes, she has no idea that her devotion has become her greatest weakness, nor that her husband hides a past crime he is desperate to keep buried. Meanwhile, in Colombia, Josefa’s sister Laura, a nurse, loses her beloved partner Juan in a tragic incident caused by the ongoing conflict in their region. Heartbroken, she decides to leave everything behind and seek refuge with Josefa in Madrid. Along the way, she briefly stays with Sebastian, a young and wealthy sculptor who falls deeply in love with her, though Laura cannot yet open her heart. After a difficult journey, Laura finally reaches Spain. At the same time, in Paris, an international team of journalists chooses a married Albanian reporter in his forties to investigate social issues in Spain. Upon his arrival in Madrid, he unexpectedly meets Laura. Circumstances force them to share an unplanned coexistence, drawing them into a powerful but unspoken love. When they finally surrender to their feelings, only for a single night, the depth of their connection becomes something rare, intense, and unforgettable, a love seen only a few times in the history of humankind.
